Alexandra Morgan Design is a full-service interior design firm with offices in Washington DC and Richmond, Virginia. From large-scale remodels to simple room refreshes, we work closely with architects, contractors, furniture makers, and artisans to create beautiful timeless spaces that meet our client’s needs and reflect their personal style.
Our design philosophy is based on the belief that a well designed home should be beautiful and distinctive while at the same time feeling comfortable and effortless. Our style balances old with new, layering vintage and antique pieces that feel soulful and well-travelled, with thoughtfully chosen new and custom pieces. Our design aesthetic focuses on sophisticated color pallets, raw natural materials, and rich textures. We select architectural details and finishes, furniture, accessories, fabrics, and art to create warm inviting bespoke spaces for each of our clients.
Alexandra Litvack
Co-Founder & Principal Designer
Alexandra’s personal design aesthetic is traditional, with a strong emphasis on raw natural elements. She finds inspiration in British architecture and interiors, as well as the natural environment that surrounds a home. She starts her design process by focusing on architectural details- incorporating elements like reclaimed wood, stone or brick, and antique fixtures whenever she can. In addition to creating beautiful spaces, Alexandra’s ultimate goal is to design a space that unmistakably feels like each of her clients. While she has her own design preferences, she truly loves creating spaces for her clients that articulate their own personal style in a curated and elevated way.
Alexandra lives in Washington DC with her husband and English mastiff, Buffy.
Morgan Botwinick
Co-Founder & Director of Operations
Morgan is a planner by nature who never met a to-do list she didn't like. Her keen ability for multitasking and implementing creative solutions, which made her a successful entrepreneur in the food world, now make her an indispensable member of the Alexandra Morgan Design team. While she mainly focuses on logistics and keeping each project on track, Morgan is also integral to the team’s design process, focusing on the practicality, feasibility, and details of each design. Once our design team creates a beautiful vision for a client’s space, Morgan devises a plan to make that vision a reality.
Morgan lives in Richmond, VA with her husband, two kids, and rescue dog, Stella.
